Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was first a part of Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana had her first ever women's rugby union game played with New South Wales as she stood out in the match that was played against Queensland. Allana added radio to the repertoire, and she makes frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana Ferguson is a certified teacher outside of the sport all over the world. Allana Ferguson holds the rare distinction of playing for Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, the Jillaroos' most popular rugby player has to call time on her professional career because of breaking her ACL four times. Ferguson 25 was able to tear her ACL on the same place at ages age 15-17, and then 20. Following a third tear, she realized it was the right time for an end. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's player. The decision to leave was in the wake of a 4th ACL left knee injury. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' player revealed the news to The Courier Mail this week following an injury sustained while training back in November.
